Lazy Sunday, what to do on a lazy sunday in Milan

Yes it's true, Milan closes down in August, meaning the shops and most business are closed or low staffed. For the most part, the same is true for Sundays. However, in the past 3-4 years there has been a slow but steady increase in the number of businesses that remain open for August as well as on Sundays. With the trend of American style brunch (which the Nescafè company has so diligently marketed), there is an entire new population of young Sunday shoppers roaming around. Where are they going?

A perfect Sunday agenda would be something like:
Morning tv and a cappuccino at home or a local bar- meet friends for Brunch in Brera - walk down via Brera and window-shop in the art gallery and boutique windows - cut through the Galleria and go to Virgin megastore and get some cool new CDs. Later on you can hang out in the center and catch a movie, or why not walk down to the Naviglio and find a cute outdoor cafè and end your day with a refreshing appertivo.
