Theresa Andrew - Alterations & Custom Dressmaking Theresa Andrew offers quality alterations and custom dressmaking. Whether it be a pin-striped power suit, a sexy cocktail dress or a dreamy wedding gown, Theresa’s years of experience and expert eye are the key to the right design for you.
In 1994, Theresa came to Milan to further her education as a student to study Italian and the fashion industry. “I fell in love with Italy. I met my husband in front of the Duomo in October of 1994, we were married 8 months later in California and then we moved back to Milan, Italy in 1996.” Since then, Theresa has moved her alterations and custom dressmaking business to Milan. Personal service is first and foremost for Ms. Andrew. She sits down personally with each client in her boutique-style fitting room and works out the best lines and shapes for your creation. Whether it’s a pin-striped power suit, a sexy cocktail dress or a dreamy wedding gown, Theresa’s years of experience and expert eye are the key to the right design for you. Her combination of professionalism and style make it an absolute pleasure working with her. Closet Clothes Sale, a one day event
Theresa’s latest project is the Closet Clothes Sale. The idea came from some of Theresa’s clients needing a way to clean out the
closet of the clothing and accessories that are still in good condition but no
longer in use. Some of the best fashion brands will be on sale; Gucci, Armani,
Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobbs, Pollini, Anne Klein, and the list goes on.
Theresa assures us, “We have a very good selection of sizes ranging from 38 to
50. We have collected for all seasons. We also have some Vintage items in VERY
good condition.”

Theresa Andrew has been sewing since she was 9 years old. She began her professional fashion
career at the age of 14 when she was commissioned by a neighbour to make a tailored
suit. She went on to study fashion and furthered her men’s tailoring and ready
to wear education working under two expert tailors in California. She has two
degrees in Fashion, one in Fashion Design and another in Custom Apparel. After
finishing her studies, she opened her first business working for private clients
and businesses in Chico, California offering quality alterations and custom dressmaking
for men, women and children’s attire.
