We are beginning a new decade but like all the arts, even fashion speaks in decades,
some repeating the 80's some inspired by the 40's but everything started this
year will be the future 2010's. Ernesto Esposito is on top of this initiative researching the psychedelic period of the 70's.
In lay and new geometrical shapes from a kaleidoscope that make his retro...super
modern. Not all the shoes are combination or colors, there is also a series of
over the top strap-ups in mono-color: velvet black, lemon yellow and hot pink
just to name a few.
Introducing something, to be exact, Somebody, completely new and avant-guard:
her brand is her namesake Azzurra Gronchi. She comes from a family of illustrators, in fact, one of the very best tanneries
in all of Italy. Given this background, she is now ready to face the market launching
her very first line of bags and purses this S/S 2010. Only high-end craftsmanship
can express her unique styles. Much like Esposito, she has been influenced by the 70's creating tie-dye patterns, embossing in
solid colors and psychedelic patchwork. It is worth viewing the entire collection.
The 2010's are bringing in enormous change, What is in? What is out?.... Leopoldo Giordano is the perfect example of everything that could possibly identify the future
10 years. High heels or flats, spikes or wedges, suede or leather, wood or woven
fibres. His vast choice will certainly be narrowing as the decade makes it's
statement sometime in the next few years. His influence was not taken from a certain
year but from nature “Flore and Fauna”, Savannah, and India. This a perfect time for women to express themselves as
we are not inhibited by fashion...Never has the accessory been more important
and never has it been so versatile.
